Not really. Mine got plugs, wires, cap, and coil. Once, when I got it.
It needed it all by then, but 20+ years is a bit much for high-voltage
components in a harsh environment. Easy, and relatively cheap.

I was thinking compared to diesel, such as spark plugs, ignition, that sort of
stuff. If it were mine it would be getting serviced at normal A/B/C intervals.

I would budget a full transmission rebuild or replacement into any offering
price. If there's no rust then this is a good deal.
