The man had been repairing the Lincoln
Continental for two weeks, and had removed all
the lug nuts on the right rear wheel except for one.
I'd rather put the others back on loose, put a long breaker bar
on the stuck nut, and drive forward

As a teenager I recall removal of a single lug nut from a 69 cadillac
out on the farm that took all day.
After rounding the nut off via crude use of vice-grips and a 4 foot
length of piping, I believe we resorted to using a hack saw and cold
chisel to split the nut.
