I now have MB 'pail yellow' coolant in my 85 300SD. However the stuff I took
out was green. It came that way been in there at least 2 - 3 years. If this
stuff is detrimental to the radiator what should I be looking for? Something
obvious like leaks, or some thing less obvious like clogs and /

MB coolant is a pale yellow like grease...
MB wheel bearing grease is an almost neon green, like regular american
antifreeze...

Yes, at least here in Canada it's completely different from the regular
Zerex jug.
