Hi, All. Car:- 89 260E. Problem;- How in 'L do I get the old ign. lock out?? Have RTFM and made paper copies to use in the car. Have made two "tools" one out of jumbo paper clips and one out of 2mm (1.92mm) stiff wire. The paper clip one fits a bit loosely in the slots and the 2mm one fits in the new but not in the old. Neither release anything as far as I can tell. Also the trim piece removed reveals a plastic cover/tube over the cylinder that goes far down into the dash. How is this removed?
