XP is not really unstable unless there are conflicting
programs/processes. I should think once virtualbox is running on top of
XP it will be fine.
However if you have a few programs running in XP and then run VB as well
you may experience problems.
XP is like a man, it can do one thing at a time
But do you still need a copy of XP to make this work? I don't have a
copy of XP cause my el cheapo computer came with it pre-installed and in
one of my fiddle sessions it was lost into cyber space.
Looking at ebay they still want over a 100 bucks for XP SP2.
