A friend at work as an '01 Jetta 1.8T. Nice car but the shocks/struts have had it. Today doing the bounce test it failed miserably. Rusty has shocks for $62 apiece, Bilstein Touring class or Sport for $20 more each and HD for more than that. I'm thinking Touring class is correct but my buddy is
