Done.
Thanks for the heads up.
Just reminder to all, if you get a hold notice from the list please drop me a
note so I know it's there and can approve it. I generally check the queue twice

Ruler added to illustrate size - about 7 or 8 cm = about 3 inches long.
Wood is fairly soft - not heavy.
Maybe pine?
Stained brown - bottom is lighter as I wore the stain off sliding it

Attached are several photos of a model car that I carved at 15 in 1949 using
a small block of balsa wood that a friend gave me. It appears that the '50
Studebaker and the '49/'50 Hudson may have had some influence. Most
significant to me, though, are the curved, one-piece windshield and rear

All kidding aside, it’s amazing to me that someone would have something like
this from their childhood, unless it was held by a parent who passed it down
later in life. I wish I had

Hi Rich - Very coool stuff!
years ago there was a article in RT about a guy who used to come into a
hobby story with the most realistic models the owner had ever seen.
Little keys in the ignition -- turn the little key and the car started ,
shift it into gear and the car took off. There
