No, but spambots still find web archives and such to harvest addresses from.
The email addresses in the archives are changed so as to not be easily
harvested. For example, instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED], its changed to
kaleb at striplin.net. No, not 100% but does help cut down on the spammers.

Is there some technique that I need to employ in order to get these same
entities to stop spamming me? I report them as spam every time, but messages
come in from the same sources every few hours. Quite an aggressive campaign
they have, whomever they are.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird for my e-mail client. It has a way cool
teachable junk mail utility. Mine is filtering all messages identified
as junk to a junk folder which gets periodically emptied. It still
lets a few spams through, but it is still learning and it is getting
better.

Even with the recent increase, only a few (one every other week) gets
past the Gmail spam filter - I just empty the spam box out of habit -
don't realy even need to do that.
