Absolutely, its amazing what even cheap snow tires can do. The problem in something like a Crown Vic is the power to weight ratio is not in your favor for snow driving, thats going to make it tail happy. As far as I'm concerned a 240D manual trans with good snow tires is the perfect snow

Then they either were not good winter tires or you needed some weight in the trunk. Front heavy vehicles are sometimes not so wonderful in snow. I had a short box Chevy pickup that would not back out of our driveway unless there was some weight in the box. Current ice radials generally work
