Yes they did, yes I bought one, and yes I was able to mount a second drive (m.2 SSD, $50 for a Crucial 500GB version).  Touch screen would be more better.  I'm very happy with the speed of the i5 processor and 12GB of RAM.  Oh well, I didn't see any point in waiting but patience is a virtue...
