He used the 5sp from the 16v, with a custom double plate clutch, 457hp.

Thanks for the tip. I think Finland has a W123 club...

Vince, have you seen what those crazy Finns do to 123s?
For instance, if you take time to download this video,
you will see one with an OM606 (3.0L 24V diesel) lay
an incredible amount of rubber down before the driver
(rehtijii) figured out he couldn't just floor it from a
standing start. He did

No, but will TRY to download it and see it (computer allowing) when I get
back from the store tonight. I thought the Finns wern't allowed to mod
thier cars due to regulations.
I always thought they could not install an engine with a higher
(from the factory) power rating.

Hello to all the Mercedes fans here at Striplin.net!
This is my first post here and I'm sorry it took me awhile to contribute,
I'm kind of a one track person with precious little time these days (which

used to this
Welcome, Vince.
If you ever get to feeling it's a rough crowd here, just subscribe
to Kaleb's banned list and you'll see we aren't so bad in comparison. ;-)
Mitch.
So who is the certain unnamed mercedes parts seller?

Welcome. We applaud your efforts to preserve the W123
from automotive obscurity, they _are_ fine cars and worthy
of keeping going. I have two myself, and wouldn't mind
adding a wagon to the sedan and coupe. (Unlike my wife,
however.)
