Interesting book about the underground war in Crete during WWII.
"The Ariadne Objective" by Wes Davis. It includes a description of
Patrick Leigh Fermor's introduction to the little gadgets invented by
Jasper Maskelyne. Jasper Maskelyne lived until 1973, and may well be
the real life prototype for Q of the James Bond stories.
Has pictures, so okies can read it too.
