That should do the trick.  The keys get inserted to disengage the spring metal 
detents holding the radio in.  Being pulled out of the way, that hook should be 
able to yank on and dislodge the radio.  At least that is how I get the radios 
out of PnP car.  May need some muscle behind the yank to overcome friction.  
Also, take a look/feel at how the keys are engaging or not the spring.  Eyes 
closed helps
