I was not talking about they time they lasted, I was more talking
about tread life. The tread seems to wear out very fast on
trailer tires, and last longer on car tires mounted on a trailer.

I have been needing a trailer, see this one. At a pawn shop, girl there
says it has a box for brakes, does not know if they work. She thinks
it has 5000lb axles (is there anyway to check the load rating?) but some
running vehicle of any kind.

That load rating of my tires on my trailer are just fine. Anytime
I have had to change a trailer tire it was because it picked up a

Why not radial tires? I use them all the time?
They sway more. Can be unpleasant with a heavily
loaded trailer.
My 7000# trailer is much rattier than that. No beavertail,
either, which might be a plus. A ratty trailer is handy, you
don't feel bad about banging it through the brush, etc.
