Reminds me of the WWII books that came out after the war's end, called MOX NIX and More MOX NIX... Joe and Willie were driving on the autobahn and saw many signs. Ausfahrt, Durchfahrt, Einfahrt, etc. And Joe commented to Willie... Geez, I don't know which way to fart!

One of the Ahas I got at the Naval Aviation Museum was in a replica WWII carrier area they had cartoons reminding people not to be a screwup, and the characters name of the screwup was Dilbert! Just as most current comedy was done by Red Skelton, if you watch Laurel and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin
