Here's a link to a Dupont PDF for information on it.

And a brief video tutorial on painting plastic. I don't think he discusses
flexible additives though.

Was it already painted or did you have to paint it?

Check part numbers in the EPC, as the cab’s bumper may be different than the

My cabriolet's front bumper is broken up along the bottom edge. The impact
strip part is fine, I need the rest of the bumper shell. Do you know that
the price is for a new shell, minus the impact strip?
I've been watching the local pick-n-pull places and nothing's come up.
Just realized I
Max,
I don’t recall it being anything difficult. The eldest son’s bumper strip was
sort of rough and I looked into replacing it. The stock part comes in black and
isn’t expensive, like maybe $125?

The impact strip is a separate part. I’m not sure how it’s attached, as I’ve
never had one off, but I know it’s sold as a separate part as I’ve looked at
replacing one.

Thanks guys, next question. The prospective "new" bumper is the middle
version, with painted body and chrome, but near-black impact strip, from a
1990 sedan. My cabriolet is a '95 so the bumper is all one color. Impact
strip on my car is fine, can I move that over to the "new" bumper or is
that
I’ve done bumpers with a couple of custom mixed rattle cans from the paint guys
in WI. Just sanded and prepped the surfaces, no big deal. Turned out nice and
lasted quite a while.

Why repaint? Silver looks good with white :-)
Mine are repainted. The impact strips are flaking, but everything else is
hanging ok.
As for difficulty, it is all in the prep. I can see it being a pain to
sand, but the visible panels not too bad. Cheap top feed gun and you're a
hero waiting to
I need a new front bumper in white for my 124 cabriolet. How hard would it be
to repaint a silver bumper in white? Should I keep looking for a white bumper?
