Why repaint? Silver looks good with white :-) Mine are repainted. The impact strips are flaking, but everything else is hanging ok. As for difficulty, it is all in the prep. I can see it being a pain to sand, but the visible panels not too bad. Cheap top feed gun and you're a hero waiting to
