Hi Dan. It would help to know if you need the om606.962 or .961
(non-turbo). They are different. I have an extra non-turbo one. There is a
depression where the charge pipe goes over the cover.

I’m looking for the top cover on the OM 606 engine, a black plastic cover that
is on top of the valve cover and under the crossover pipe. Mercedes part number

No. It only speeds the waterflow through the heater
core when the engine's main water pump isn't spinning
fast enough to keep enough heat flowing in. When idling,
that is to say.

Nope, it is the circulation system, that little bypass hose on older
engines (OM615/616/617, M180 etc.) that gets the first warm water to
your heater, rather than having to wait until the radiator is warm
and the thermostat opens.
The Aux heater pump only helps to circulate water to a heater t

I would assume he means the servo? If so, dont have one. Best to get a
new metal one from Rusty, or go with the conversion kit.

If it's the auxiliary water pump, you don't really need
it. Unless you spend a lot of time at idle in the cold
climates. Bypass it, or at least just unplug it.

Seems like it should work fine except at idle if it's only the auxiliary water

My indy has a 1978 300D. The heat does not work and he said it needs a water
