Managed to get the lock cylinder out of my '83 240D today (progress Loren!) but
was driven out by bugs before I could get farther.
Decided I'd take a look at the '78, its got different keys for the doors and
the ignition. I'd like to fix that and assuming the ignition lock works the
same as
Never mind, I just needed to read the directions...
Wilton had sent me the pdf some time ago and it actually covers both first and
second type locks, you still apply a paper clip, just in a different place...
