Good point about Canada. If they don't have dirt cheap shotgun shells in
every Walmart and sporting goods store up there, you sure don't want
to cross the border with a case of ammo in an attempt to save a few $$.

California doesn't count. It may as well be its own country for all
the attention
I still have my 12 ga. and 20 ga. Lee loaders - loaded LOT of shotgun
shells with it. Seems it was dirt cheap at the time ('70s). A friend
had one for 30-06 that we used during deer season.
I hink I still have several pounds of #5 shot (lead) and herco powder
- wonder if it's any good now?

Curt likes MEC, I find a Lee Load-All to be plenty adequate for $40-50.

that's maybe the main reason i doubt i'll ever leave the south. in much of
the US, the idea is that the criminals can be armed to the teeth and you
must submit to this as you "cannot take the law into your own hands" and the
citizens just lap it up and beg for more abuse (and they get it!). in th

I don't think you could ever buy
i've always just been happy with factory ammo. plus, there is so much choice
for the more popular sizes it's hard not to find something you really
like. about the only round i use that i feel i don't have enough options
is .44 special, but there is still enough to keep me happy.

Only thing that ever made me nervous was setting the
