I was up in MtP yesterday evening and just about ready to send the guy a msg
about going by and got one from him saying the cars had been sold. Someone did

The guy sent me some pics which for some reason he can't post on CL or
email. One car, I think the 350SD(L?) with a blown engine looks half
decent, the 300SEL is pretty much a turd. I'm seeing $500 max for the
pair, not that I have any particular interest.

with the bad engine as that needs to swapped anyway. Plenty of room I guess,
the 300 in-line fits in the 300SEL, the main issue would be adjusting the
engine and tranny mounts to get it in place, adjusting the drive
