I think my 87 190D 2.5 Turbo is at its lifes end. Someone rear ended it on the way home on the express way. Then I was clipped by a second car because I was spun partially around. Will have to start the search for a replacement and the fight over worth with the insurance company. Bob Massmann

Look at the on-line valuation programs -- you might be surprised at what you find. Ball park will be $3000 to $6000 -- it, like the 87 300D, is an uncommon car and in fairly high demand. Sorry you got hit, BTDT. I'm fine, but didn't really care to test the crash protection personally.
