No loss here. Any MB related content (miniscule) was invariably
wrong. Entertainment, yes, or maybe, good advice, no.

A very familiar smell, to me and Wilton, too.
Of course, you meant burnt JP4.

I like the smell of JP4
Yep, rather it be burned, not leaking or roaming/running around freely.

this was before the show I think), and their prices were quite high. I

Another passing of an era. The fact they retired two years ago (and went to
edited rebroadcasts) does explain why current shows seemed somehow familiar.
I did learn a things from that show
While their advice was often questionable, especially when it came to Mercedes,
they were always a hoot to listen to.
I drove by Ray’s shop in Cambridge several times while visiting Boston. Never
stopped, as I figured they would discourage touristas since it was a working
business.

I remember some bad advice on a 123 diesel that wouldn't shut off. They
advised using a hose into the cabin hooked into a drinking straw suck on
the straw. They seemed unaware of the shut off lever. That said I listened
to them for 25 years every week. What a loss.

I suspect Tom when downhill pretty fast, he sounded pretty good when
they quit making new programs two years ago.
I always got a kick out of listening, they were usually on Saturday
mornings when I run errands.
The world need more Tom Magliozzi's.
