1.) Open trunk
2.) Lean in and look at interior side of trunk lid behind where trunk tristar
is located, see cutout in metal
3.) With ratchet, extension and 13mm socket, unscrew nut form threaded stud on
back of tristar
4.) remove tristar from trunk lid.
Process is literally the same over man
Anybody know how easy it is to remove a W123 trunk emblem without breaking it?
(The star.) I've got one on the parts car in the woods, and I think it would
look perfect lashed to the expanded metal radiator grille on the Mazcedes.
