Back when I ran a photo lab, we used to rescue the keyboards of the
editorial gals when they spilled coffee or Cokes on them. This was back
when Mac keyboards were stupid expensive to replace. We'd rinse them
thoroughly in distilled water, then alcohol to remove the water, then hang

My phone is always on so when it got wet the damage was probably
instantaneous. Plus, I did attempt to fire it up soon thereafter.
In hindsight, I probably should have left it outside to bake in the hot DC

Remove the battery, which may be toast now. Douse/submerge in isopropyl

Sure it does, you just need to crack open the case. Google / youtube is
your friend, find a video of someone taking the same model apart, you may
have to buy some tools (small torx driver).
Or you can just pay someone to do it, or get a new phone...

if available.
Put a cupful of calcium chloride granules in a plastic zipper bag with

That's what they put in some of the little bags you find in medicine
bottles and such. Calcium chloride will pull the humidity 'way down
and dry out the cellphone. Since water was able to get into the
innards, water vapor should have no trouble getting out. At least that
