Probably both the cam and the lifters. The 1978 has the larger cam oil delivery tube that was supposed to cure that problem - so it's probably been run low on oil like Mathieu said. Buyer beware. Other than all the rubber seals and tubes in the intake system drying out and leaking, these are bullet
