Well, even I may be a bit "guilty" on the wheels - only slightly, though.  In 
1953, I bought a "restored" '31 Model A Ford 5-window coupe that had '35/'36 
Ford 6.00" X 16" steel spoke wheels.  I think the originals were about 19" or 
so, but I did like the "newer" wheels and slightly wider tires on it, and, of 
course, they were Ford authentic.  The car had terrible mechanical beakes, and 
I always wanted to put '39/'40 Ford hydraulic brakes on it, but never did - 
sure wish I could have kept that car; mention it to SWMBO even now, and she'll 
tell you how upset she still is that I sold it.
