[MBZ] Window shopping

Yea, BuyMBParts has one of those. It is called the RustyQ. :-) On 7/31/07, E M [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Seem all the dealers, including porsche now offer these bar type areas where you can relax, have a cofffee or espresso and what whatever you're interested in while waiting -- LT Don

You haven't driven my 300TD. It looks clunky but can drag with most cars on the road (not that I would ever do that). On 11/22/06, E M [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Well, I know for sure a 300SEL 6.3 was as was a 450SEL 6.9 Zeb On 22/11/06, andrew strasfogel [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Very cool.

If that's the case then you must have some propane injection or other such option to boost your 83 300td to double it's horsepower... I figure my 83 300D has the same power and less weight than your td and I think it goes about as fast as it looks. If anything, mine perhaps sounds faster than

That's a negatory - the 300TD is no Q-ship. It doesn't look fast and (most importantly) ISN'T fast. The 3.5 -might- be a Q ship, but the coupe design probably makes it look fast. True MB Q-ships are cars like the 6.3, 6.9, and 500E - sedate-looking sedans that have jaw-dropping performance.

As I've mentioned, I'm in the market for an older wagon, but thought I'd do a little window shopping as I haven't been to the dealer in a while. I went to look at the S550 sedan, but while there, they were road testing a new CL550. I have a number of pics off the net of this car, and I can say,
