They also have a VERY nice 85 sitting in a storage building I’m trying to get
out of them. On BAT it’s probably a $30k car. Seriously thinking about trying
to trade one of my 606 turbos or maybe even a CDI for it. That might be crazy
though.

The other day I bought 2 84 300D's, one has a dead battery and some
minor hail damage and the other has some parts missing for $1200 for the

its sitting on my trailer.
Does it run and drive? My sister's inlaws (the same ones I bought the '78
300CD from) had a 1976 450SLC. I got to ride in it once before FIL died.
It seemed powerful though it had a fuel injection problem (stumbled at times
and would load up at idle). That's my
250, which was a gray market 123 chassis. I owned it
and later sold it to Kleb.

I saw a 1984 300D LWB limo on some CL site in California. They were asking
$13K for it with 85K original miles on it (pretty good if it's true).

Not really, unless it was a diesel. Most of these 123
LWB cars came over from western Europe after seeing
service as taxis. AS a result, nearly every one I
ever saw while searching for the former Klebmobile was
ratted out or near the end of it's useful life.
