If you are having problems, the lab always makes them over at no further 
cost. I can't tell you many lenses have been done over for me. The labs make 
lots 
of errors and mine have included incorrect interpupillary (spacing) distance 
and/or incorrect segment height. I wear Transitions lenses which are 
photochromic trifocals and I just paid about $200 for just the lenses in my old 
frames.

When you reach a certain age, your eyes need to be regularly checked for 
intraocular pressure (think glaucoma) and the condition of the inside of the 
eye. 
That's why I go to an Opthalmologist and I think it's no place to save money. 
A white cane or a dog with a handle is not what I am looking for.

BTW, my eye Doc is a PCA member with a 928 track car.
