Folks So i did some inspection on the dead battery when it didn't respond to charging overbite The top side was blown out on the positive side. A check with a meter indicated that i was charging at about 16+ volts I grabbed my trusty Uro voltage regulator from the glove box and installed it

I'm with Dan, Uro has a very bad reputation. If the voltage regulator over-charges, that can kill your battery and maybe other electrical components as well. Not worth the risk. I'd use Bosch from junkyard before I'd use Uro. -- Max Dillon Charleston SC '87 300TD '95 E300
