Good point.  It's a DIY but if you have to pay someone it would be 3X that at least (and could be a bit more depending on how you acquire a CP).  New CP is $850, then swap, then programming ($400 or more), then fluid/filter for $150 or so for materials, add labor to all that and you're looking

Could be fixed for about that, that's about what it cost to do mine with the reprogramming and new fluid/filter.  I'd worry about the engine though, but the car looks pretty nice Yes it will move and drive so don't email ask will it drive or runs. Car books out at $4200 So its a steal
