in Otto is driving. It was Germanification of the first part of
Autopilot.

When I installed a vacuum operated cruise control in my 66 200D back in
the early 80s, I gave the cruise control the nickname Otto As in Otto
is driving. It was Germanification of the first part of Autopilot.
Reminds me of Wall-E... Otto[pilot]
