For those predisposed to gory pics, here's one of the right side of the block showing where the #5 broken rod knocked a hole in the block. The broken rod did the same to the left side of the block as well as the oil pan and the impact/jolt caused the cast cam bracket to also break above #5.

I have an 82 300D with a thrown rod on #1 cylinder... hole in block big enough to pass your hand through, just behind the alternator. One owner car with 106,000 verified through service records miles. In this case, It appears the oil pressure gage feed line leaked while the woman driver never

..But you must remove the card from the camera to use it. I have a cable sitting next to my keyboard that plugs into the mini-USB on the camera. Cable is always there. Plug in the camera, offload the files, unplug.  I find that more convenient than removing the card and finding a USB port
