Electronic noise from the driver circuits?
Anyway, that's only a factor when the built in light is on, meaning you're
probably closing the door. Range is more likely to be an issue when the door's
closed, especially if it's a metal door.

I have a question for you electronics experts
My son just got a garage door opener and I was reading the installation
manual. It suggests not using LED bulbs in the opener because they may
limit the range on the remotes.
Any idea why that might be?
