Interesting. I don't recall seeing a tool kit in the ML, it might be there somewhere, or maybe the dealer guy showed me and I forgot. I guess the next trick would be finding the hole. --R On 11/2/15 1:45 PM, Meade Dillon via Mercedes wrote: FYI next time, Prof Google says the emergency

Yes, need to get the screw-in eye from the tool kit (wherever that is hidden) and figure out the access panel on the appropriate bumper. I'll bet that M's new vehicle has the same set up. - Max Charleston SC On Tue, Nov 3, 2015 at 9:38 AM, Rich Thomas via Mercedes <

I came into this late, but me W220 has the same setup. There's an eye that is in the tool kit that screws into a threaded receptacle behind the tow hook cover. I found this out right after I got the car and was trying to understand the purpose for said eye in the tool kit. Owner's manual

FYI next time, Prof Google says the emergency towing hook / eye is removable and is stored in the vehicle tool kit. There are two small plastic covers, one on the front bumper and one on the rear, that cover an opening for the place where the towing eye is inserted and screwed in. Perhaps one

Our ML (now Kleb's) had nice sized tow points front and rear. I pulled a lot of stuff with it. It also had a low gear range that came in handy when pulling large dead oak trees across the front yard. A B-17 was at the small GA airport in OKC last weekend - son saw it flying around. On Fri, Oct
