I had a customer when I worked at the
Day two after running the ozone generator over night. Youngest son rode in the
car this morning and could only smell leather according to him.
I will run it some more today while I do the power steering flush and fill. I
have to drop it off at UPS this afternoon.
I am pretty well convinced
'Same runs and drips of nicotine in the 124 MB that I mentioned.

I used mine in a nasty-smelling (like cat pee, plus other oddities)
instrument case. That, and washing the horn itself, cured it of any
bad odor.
Make sure you air out the car good after using the ozone generator. A
bit of reading on the net indicates that the ozone is not good for you
to breathe. Also suggests it is bad for various materials including
rubber and leather so maybe you don't want to run it any longer than you
need to.
The company that rents it says there is are detrimental effects on the car
interior for the given time and amount of ozone produced. And yes, they have
very specific instructions about airing the car out for 20-30 minutes after
using the ozone generator, as ozone is an irritant.
