Well no I have the right size blade, it doesn't touch or get close to the upper window frame. stopping it when it is upright shows the top 1 to 2 inches is just not touching the glass. Bent things and fiddled a bit, but couldn't get it to co-operate. Maybe I'll try another brand of blade and
