To be honest I don't know but I doubt it, MB tends to keep their model line up pretty basic in OZ. I think the dealers like it like that but of course of late we have been getting a lot of new models such as the B and C et al. However within the classes we only get a few engine choices, I think

I am thinking of looking for a 300TD. I need the room to carry stuff that I now always find myself having to plan ahead and bring a trailer. What I don't know is which one is the best. My first thought is to stay with an 81 to 84 300TD as I am familiar with that combo because of my current 83

I believe that the later OM603 are way ahead of the older ones both in power and efficiency. Obviously the 124 is more refined but if you are looking for a tough old machine the 123 is the go. Unfortunately they did not sell (or only a tiny number) the S124 TD over here. Hendrik M G wrote: I
