In my experience batteries go from "works fine" to "won't hold a charge/start
the car" very quickly without much warning. That's mostly with conventional
batteries though, I don't have much experience with AGM batteries.

But very slowly. The battery is under the front passenger seat so it does
not get exposed to corrosive atmospheric conditions. It might Linger on
indefinitely.

Yes. Interstate manufactured in Deutschland. If it has a problem, walk in, set
it down, say it’s dead, and in 5min you’re out with a new one. Did that a
couple weeks ago.
