Less unsprung weight. That makes the ride better.No rust. Don't need to be repainted, at least not for 40 years or more They are easier to change or move around off the car because they weigh less. And, they have those pretty white stripes under the hubcap! Karl W

Hubcaps are much more durable over 40-60 years, don't need to be repainted (unless you rub them against curbs) and are MUCH easier to clean than a bundt. Most bundts by now have been repainted once or thrice, or are ugly. Bundts get curb rash easily. This effectrively makes them scrap to

I always figured aluminum heads were an imperfect solution because they expand differently than the rest of the engine when heated and are mainly used to save weight. Am I wrong? The whole bleeding engine is aluminum. RLE
