They are a dished spring washer. If you took a regular
washer and molded it around the exhaust pipe you'd have
a good approximation of its appearance. Translation:
a spring-steel washer with a cylindrical bend to it.

The section in the manual that explains the correct installation in my 126
manual is 49-100 of the engine section. I
