He doesn't have a complete car, but has everything you mentioned and he knows
that he will need to have the driveshaft re-done. Thanks for the info on the
bolts, I will let him know.

very easy. He is going to need MUCH more than just the tranny for it to
work. He will probably have to have a driveshaft customized to fit since
the turbo never came with a manny, trans crossmemeber, shifter, pedal
assembly

Friend Charlie bought a 5 speed 124 manny tranny off a Euro gasser and wants to
put it in his '87 300TD.
BUT, he is not sure how many bolts are on the engine (603) flywheel. He said it
is going to be 6 or 12, probably. Frankly, I forget how many are on the tranny,
I think 6...so he is hoping
right, not talking about TC.
