I wonder which musical instrument is used to make the anvil sound in the Anvil Chorus? It was played a lot before WW-2. An anvil? That's what I've brought to our community band for use on the Blacksmith's Song in the Holst. Sounds way better than the brake drum they had been using. -- Jim
