That word "corn" has an interesting history. In the beef, it is
because the meat was cured with big chunks of salt. This course
salt was called "corns of salt", probably because the big pieces
were as big as grain

Actually it was part of our Volunteer Fire Dept fleet. We,carried jaws of
life on the rescue & the inflatable air bags to raise cars off victims. We
had separate,ambulances.I was an engine driver.
