I just gave you the link. There is not a link from the main page.

Sometimes you have to lead Kaleb by the hand like a 2 year old

Some people work full time, and sqeeze in time to also run a parts
business on the side. Then try and fit time on for all my various
projects. You get the picture.

Hello Zoltan,
1st - the series Vs parallel question - OK - series is when the GPs are
hooked one after the other, i.e. #1 gets 12V, #2 is supplied by #1 (and has
a voltage loss), #3 is supplied by #2 - again with a voltage drop, and so
on.
The so-called Fast Glow Plugs are wired such that
Great info. I'm inclined to ask though, which type did my model come with?
The series or the better type?
I seem to remember that the series type (that depend on eachother to have
voltage - which, by the way, seems like poor design) came on the older
models, and was phased out in favor of plugs

I believe that the change from series to parallel was about 1980. My
'78 had series (till I converteded it), and my '81s have parallel.
I'm assuming that

I'll cast my usual vote for any decent DOT4, alternating with ATE Blue.
That way, if you do the right thing and change the fluid before it changes
color,
you can tell the difference between the old and new fluid.
IIRC, the 115 300D manual calls for DOT 4. I always gravity bleed mine
(had three of them) - no muss, no fuss --

I gravity bleed vice pump/close valve/release pedal/open valve repeat,
because if the brake fluid hasn't been changed regularly, there probably
is corrosion and crap in the master cylinder, and when you go full

sure is, if you go to the list page and go to the archives, you can
download the entire archive archive for a month and then search away
with your text reader program.
