I recently picked up a 126 gasser for parts for my 300SD.? Need
recommendation:? My existing dash has some cracks in vinyl with bad wood.? The
parts car has crack free dash with sweet burl wood.?
Will it be easier/faster to swap out the ENTIRE dash, or should I consider just
swapping the wood
Easier? I don't know. I do know however that I have never had any luck
with replying (and getting to stay there) any wood pieces. An improved
final product? Switch out the entire dash.

cents more than regular. As you pay more for a diesel car up front, more

If you ask me, yes. It's also an excellent opportunity to
repair and/or upgrade anything you want under there, and it
avoids the whole problem of a diesel engine in a gasser VIN.

MB engines are notorious for burning off the top half quart of so if
filled up to the top line on the dipstick, and many a case of
excessive oil consumption has been cured by letting the level drop
to the lower line before adding oil. The 61x engines do this more
than the 60x engines do,
