feed with sour goats milk from some granola farmer down the way. We bought one

Do you have a Mity-Vac already? The first step (determining if you need the
valve or not) is very easy once you've got the vac.
Figure that out and give it another year or two to decide your next step. Dont

Most stuff like this never goes to trial, the prosecutor and the
defendant's shyster usually work something out. They are so overloaded
with nasty crimes that this sort of thing is an annoyance, and the judge
will tell them to go sort it out, let me know what you did, and I will
sign off on

I would think that you would have better luck in small claims court. I believe
you can do this in your local jurisdiction for minimal expense. You'll probably
have a tough time collecting, but at least you'll get a judgement against him.
