Buy the whole tie rod with both ends and replace it complete. Vastly easier and not much more expensive than the outers only -- they will be VERY rusted in place, and you will end up taking the old assembly out to beat on the threaded portions so you and unscrew the old one, and at that

Two ways to check -- first, the fan must drag quite a bit cold and stationary -- if you try to spin it by hand it will be stiff. Once up to temperature, it just speed up and roar and be impossible to stop with a folded newspaper (keep your hands out!). The other quick test is to watch

B100 has a much better cetane rating that typical american diesel (which is usually really bad in the summer). I buy my fuel at the coop-- local crude distilled down the road with 5% Biodiesel. Works great. When I'm on the road, I try to use BP or Shell, as they are both much better
