The Veteran's group is a very nice place with a lot of familiar folks.
While I am very much anti-Facebook, it's one of the only places I frequent

What sort of hats did you all wear back then?
Hats are an odd thing. Useful for folks who work outdoors like farmers
and decorative to some extent for the ladies etc but apart from baseball
hats, seem to have all but faded from the scene.
Yup! Even my lowly 182 is a different machine when nearly empty than when
at gross weight. It's a true half ton pickup - load capacity of 1006 lbs.
