and SKF is better than most, but perhaps not quite up there with FAG. I
got FAG for the tensioner because they were available for pretty much
the same price, and it seems to be a fairly high failure rate at 150 to
250k

provided company cars in Hawaii without heater. That part was ok most
of the time. However in Hawaii, on cold rainy nights or days, you DO
need a defroster to take the condensation off the windshield.

I make them loosen them by hand and re-tighten with a torque wrench. They
fought me the first time until I said "If you can loosen them all with a lug
wrench I'll buy lunch for the shop." They can't without jumping on it so I
don't have to buy, never had to argue again...

I take the four wheels off the car and take them to the tire shop. I
install the wheels with a torque wrench - no problems with lug bolts that
way. I've never had (knocking on wood) a tire emergency on the road where I
couldn't do the wheel R myself - yet.
